These terms are the rules for using NileHub (the app and the website). By using NileHub you agree to them.
1. Who we are
NileHub ("we", "us") is run by its owner. Contact: support@nilehub.app, or WhatsApp on the Help & contact page.
2. What NileHub does
NileHub lets people post ads and lets buyers contact sellers. We are not the buyer or the seller and we do not take part in the sale. The deal, the payment for the item and the handover are between the buyer and the seller.
We check sellers’ IDs and review ads before they go live, but we cannot promise that every ad, item or person is genuine. Use your own judgement and follow the safety tips.
3. Your account
You log in with your phone number and password. Keep your password secret and your phone safe (a code sent to it can set a new password) — you are responsible for what is done from your account.
To sell you must be 18 or older and verify your identity with a valid ID and a selfie. The details you give must be true and your own.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, posts scams or is reported many times.
4. Rules for ads
Ads must be for a real item, property, job or service that you are allowed to sell, in the right category, with your own photos and an honest description and price.
Not allowed: weapons and ammunition, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit items, wildlife and animal parts protected by law, human trafficking or adult services, government documents, and anything else illegal in South Sudan. We may add to this list.
Do not post the same ad many times, and do not write phone numbers or links in the ad text.
We may refuse, edit the category of, or remove any ad that breaks these rules, and we may tell the authorities about illegal activity.
5. Fees and payments
Browsing and contacting sellers is free. Sellers pay a fee to publish an ad (it depends on the item's price) and for Premium. Prices are shown in the app before you pay.
Payments are made in cash to NileHub (contact the number shown in the app and give your payment number), by card on the website (through our card payment partner Ziina, in US dollars), or with NileHub coins. A cash payment is confirmed when our team has received it; a card payment when the card company confirms it. Coins are bought in cash or by card, can only be used on NileHub and cannot be changed back into money or moved to another account.
If we reject an ad, you can correct it and send it again without paying again. Paid fees and coins are not refunded in money, except where the law requires it. If you pay for the same thing twice, the second payment is added to your coins.
You can delete your account at any time (Account → Delete my account). Coins left in a deleted account are lost.
An ad is live for 30 days. Premium shows a live ad first for the time you paid for; it ends early if the ad is sold, removed or taken down.
6. Content you post
You keep ownership of your photos and text. You allow us to show them on NileHub and to shrink or crop photos so they load fast.
Reviews must be honest and about a real contact with the seller. Do not write rude, false or paid reviews. We may hide reviews that break these rules.
7. Our responsibility
NileHub is provided "as it is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from deals between buyers and sellers, or for times when the service is not available.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Sudan.
